National Minimum Wage increase

There will be an increase from €10.50 to €11.30 effective 1 January 2023.

Financial Supports for your businesses

In 2023 the LEO network will be providing capital grants to small firms to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. The Green Transition Fund, Lean business offer and Digital Innovation are some of the grants and supports available out there. VAT Rate change

For hospitality and tourism businesses the 9% Vat rate will increase to 13.5% effective from 1 March 2023.

New rules on tips and gratuities and service charges

Effective from 1 December 2022, Employers must now display a ‘Tips and Gratuities Notice’. Employers must give employees a statement of the tips and gratuities distributed, including the total amount of electronic tips received during a particular period and how much was paid to them.
