As part of Budget 2025, the Government has announced a new €4,000 grant called Power Up, to assist businesses in hospitality, retail and beauty sectors.
- Businesses that received the second ICOB payment and still meet ICOB qualifications.
- Retail and hospitality businesses without a 2023 rates bill may also qualify, provided they meet specific criteria (check with your local authority for eligibility).
- Operating as a commercially active, rateable business from a commercial property.
- Currently trading and committed to remain operational for at least three months post-application (including businesses seasonally closed until Spring 2025).
- Maintaining an up-to-date business rates account (payment plans are acceptable).
- Being tax compliant with a valid Tax Registration Number.
